The LS-332S three-piece full-port stainless steel ball valve combines socket-weld end connections with the higher-pressure rating and maintainability of the three-piece body design. Common applications include high-purity chemical processing, pharmaceutical and biotech process lines where threaded joints are unacceptable, semiconductor manufacturing utilities, food and beverage processing requiring crevice-free welded connections, and high-vibration or high-cycle installations where threaded connections might loosen over time.
The three-piece body construction allows the center section containing the ball, seats, and stem to be removed for cleaning, inspection, or seat replacement without cutting the welded end-caps out of the piping system — a significant maintenance advantage in installations where pipe disturbance is costly or disruptive. The 2000 WOG pressure rating in sizes 1/4" through 2" (1500 WOG for 2-1/2" through 3") supports demanding hydraulic and chemical applications, while the ISO 5211 mounting pad provides direct interchange with standard pneumatic and electric actuators. 316 stainless steel body and ball, PTFE seats, locking lever handle, and bottom-loaded blowout-proof stem provide a robust, long-service-life valve.
