LDC-750C Series
ANSI Class 150 – 2500 Cast Steel Wafer Check Valve
Wafer style, dual door check valve
Design Features:
- Economical, lightweight, compact design – significantly lighter and less expensive than comparable swing check valves.
- Easy to install and maintain.
- Smooth, spring assisted closing reduces water hammer.
- Long-legged springs allow plates to open/close without seat scrubbing.
- Rugged Inconel X-750 spring is standard in all steel & stainless steel valves.
- Innovative 316SS seat, standard in all WCB metal seated valves, combined with standard 316SS plates provides a true all stainless steel seating area.
- All WCB & 316SS valves conform to NACE MR-01-75.
- Manufactured to API 594 & tested to API 598.
Dual-door wafer check valves provide a compact, lightweight, and cost-effective alternative to traditional swing check valves — particularly in applications where space, weight, and water-hammer minimization are key design criteria. The split-disc design with spring-assisted closing reduces the disc travel distance and closing time compared to a swing check, which significantly reduces water hammer and reverse-flow surge when pumps trip or stop.
The LDC-750C4 series serves applications from Class 150 through Class 2500, covering the full range from general industrial water and process service up to severe high-pressure applications in oil and gas production, refining, and power generation. The Inconel X-750 spring construction provides reliable cycling performance in steel and stainless steel valves, while the 316SS plates combined with 316SS metal seats in WCB-bodied valves create an all-stainless seating area that resists erosion and corrosion. NACE MR-01-75 compliance ensures suitability for sour-service (hydrogen sulfide) applications. Manufactured to API 594 and pressure-tested to API 598, the LDC-750C4 series provides dependable non-return service across a broad range of demanding industrial applications.
