Two-piece stainless steel ball valves like the LS-201T are widely used in chemical processing, food and beverage production, pharmaceutical systems, water treatment, instrumentation lines, dosing and metering systems, and general industrial applications where corrosion resistance is essential. The stainless steel body construction provides excellent resistance to a broad range of aggressive media — including acids, caustics, chlorides, and high-purity fluids — while the full-port design minimizes pressure drop and supports unrestricted flow.
Threaded NPT end connections complying with ANSI B1.20.1 (and BS21 / DIN 259 on request) allow straightforward installation and replacement, and the two-piece design supports in-line service for many applications. The floating-ball design with bottom-loaded blowout-proof stem combined with the locking lever handle provides safe, reliable operation across the typical installation envelope of 1/4" through 4", with full-port construction maintained throughout the size range. Investment-casting body construction ensures dimensional consistency, while ANSI B16.34 design conformance and API 598 pressure-testing provide consistent quality and direct interchangeability with standard plant piping systems.
