The LS-292T 2000 WOG two-piece stainless steel ball valve is designed for higher-pressure applications than standard 1000 WOG ball valves — typical installations include hydraulic systems on industrial machinery, compressed-air and gas service, chemical-feed and dosing systems at elevated pressure, refrigeration service, and instrument-air and control-line shutoff in oil and gas, petrochemical, and power plant facilities.

The strengthened body construction supports the 2000 WOG rating in sizes 1/4" through 2", with the 2-1/2" through 4" sizes rated to 1500 WOG. Reinforced TFE (PTFE-based) seats provide extended service life under high-pressure cycling, while the adjustable packing gland allows in-service compensation for stem-packing wear. The bottom-loaded blowout-proof stem prevents stem ejection under pressure, and optional features (locking device, tapped mounting pad for ISO 5211 actuator interface, vented ball for high-purity applications) extend the valve's usefulness across automated, safety-critical, and specialty installations. ANSI B16.34 and EN 12516-1 design conformance, NPT threaded ends per ANSI B1.20.1, and API 598 pressure-testing ensure consistent quality.
