LDC-750C Series
ANSI Class 150 – 2500 Cast Steel Wafer Check Valve
Wafer style, dual door check valve
Design Features:
- Economical, lightweight, compact design – significantly lighter and less expensive than comparable swing check valves.
- Easy to install and maintain.
- Smooth, spring assisted closing reduces water hammer.
- Long-legged springs allow plates to open/close without seat scrubbing.
- Rugged Inconel X-750 spring is standard in all steel & stainless steel valves.
- Innovative 316SS seat, standard in all WCB metal seated valves, combined with standard 316SS plates provides a true all stainless steel seating area.
- All WCB & 316SS valves conform to NACE MR-01-75.
- Manufactured to API 594 & tested to API 598.
The LDC-750C dual-door wafer check valve is engineered for applications that benefit from compact, lightweight, water-hammer-reducing non-return service — pump discharge headers, system isolation between parallel pumps, high-cycle process lines, and any installation where the weight and length of a traditional swing check valve would create installation, support, or budget concerns. The split-disc design with spring-assisted closing significantly reduces water-hammer surge compared to a swing check, protecting upstream pumps and piping during sudden flow reversal events.
WCB cast steel body construction with CF8M discs, 316SS stem, Inconel X-750 spring, and 316SS metal seat provides a robust all-stainless seating area resistant to erosion and corrosion. NACE MR-01-75 compliance qualifies the valve for sour service in oil and gas applications. Wafer-style installation between standard ANSI B16.5 flanges reduces installation cost and footprint compared to flanged-end check valves. API 594 manufacturing standards and API 598 pressure-testing ensure consistent quality. Available across Class 150 through Class 2500, the LDC-750C series covers general industrial service through high-pressure severe-service applications.
