The Lance 3 Piece Carbon Steel Ball Valve is designed for fast, economical in-line maintenance. It has an adjustable packing gland and a bottom-loaded blow-out proof stem.

Three-piece carbon steel ball valves with socket-weld end connections — like the LC-301S — provide an economical alternative to stainless steel three-piece valves for non-corrosive process media where welded piping connections are required by code, by process integrity considerations, or by the high-cycle/high-vibration nature of the installation. Typical applications include hydraulic systems on industrial machinery, compressed-air and gas distribution headers, fuel oil and lubrication-oil service, condensate and steam-trap discharge piping, and general industrial process lines.

The three-piece body construction allows the ball, seats, and stem to be removed for cleaning, seat replacement, or seal renewal without cutting the welded end-caps out of the piping system — a significant maintenance advantage in installations where pipe disturbance is costly or disruptive. WCB carbon steel body construction with 1000 WOG full-port pressure rating, 150 PSI steam service rating, and ANSI B16.34 / EN 12516-1 design conformance provides reliable service across a broad range of industrial applications. Socket-weld ends conform to ANSI B16.11 (available on request). API 598 pressure-testing ensures consistent quality.
