304 stainless steel and 316L stainless steel body constructions support general food/dairy service and chemical-resistance applications respectively. The 316L forged-body design provides higher mechanical strength and improved corrosion performance for aggressive cleaning chemistries and pharmaceutical service. Alternative seat materials including Buna-N, Viton, silicone, and PTFE-encapsulated options are available to match specific temperature and chemistry requirements.
