Sanitary ball valves provide reliable on/off flow control in hygienic process applications where smooth, crevice-free internal geometry is essential — food and beverage production, dairy, brewery operations, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech process lines, and personal care product formulation. Full-port construction maintains the same internal diameter as the connecting tubing, eliminating turbulence, product hang-up, and pressure drop while supporting reliable Clean-in-Place and Steam-in-Place protocols.
FDA-compliant seat materials including PTFE, PTFE-carbon, PTFE-glass, and PTFE-stainless blends provide chemical compatibility across a wide range of process media while maintaining the smooth shutoff surface required for hygienic service. Two-way, three-way (L-port and T-port), and four-way configurations support flow isolation, diversion, mixing, and tank switching applications. Pneumatic actuators with NAMUR-mount solenoids, electric actuators, and manual handle options are all available, supporting both stand-alone valve installation and integration into automated CIP and process-control systems. Construction conforms to 3A, DIN, SMS, ISO, and RJT standards for interchangeability with global process equipment.
