The LS-2GATS small-bore stainless steel gate valve is sized and configured for installations where compactness, corrosion resistance, and moderate pressure are the key requirements — chemical process feed lines, dosing and metering circuits, instrument isolation, sample-system shutoff, laboratory and pilot-plant piping, and small-bore utility services. The NRS (Non-Rising Stem) design keeps the overall envelope compact, useful for skid-mounted equipment and tight installations where rising-stem clearance is not available.
316 stainless steel body and bonnet construction provides excellent corrosion resistance across a wide range of process chemistries including dilute acids, caustics, brines, and aggressive process water. Threaded NPT end connections allow direct installation into standard small-bore piping without flanges or welding, simplifying replacement and reducing system cost. The 200 WOG (Water-Oil-Gas) pressure rating is appropriate for the small-bore applications this valve is typically specified for. As with all gate valves, this valve is intended for full-open or full-closed service — for throttling or flow-control applications, a globe or needle valve would be the appropriate selection.
